The property is approx 8 km from the bustling town of Granard with two excellent Secondary Schools and a host of Shops, restaurants and pubs. The residence is a short walk from the shores of Lovely Lough Gowna – Lough Gowna itself consists of a number of large basins connected by short river stretches and is principally pike fishing water. Lough Gowna provides very good pike fishing with excellent access and facilities. There are many stretches which provide good bank fishing, too.

Approx. 3km from the property is the well renowned – Derrycassin Woods – Derrycassan Wood hugs the shoreline of Lough Gowna and is a perfect place for a leisurely amble through the forest and along the lakeshore. There are lovely walks to choose from, which bring you along the river, by the lakeshore and through the lovely native flora and fauna.
